COMMUNITY CENTERS
At Sinda we have established spaces to encourage community interaction.
Today, we no longer have just one headquarters, currently and thanks to the reception and acceptance of the communities to our project we have two community spaces where we come together as a family and carry out productive training, recreational activities and promote social mobility.
Our Community Centers are located in Neutla and Delgado de Abajo, in the municipality of Comonfort, Guanajuato.

Services we provide

Health days
With the collaboration of the Comprehensive Care Center for Essential Health Services (CAISES) and the municipality of Comonfort, women and children in the communities where we operate have received different health services, including:
- Pap smear
- Mammography
- Oral health
- Breast examination
- Sexual health
- Early stimulation
- Vaccination
- Nutrition
- Visual examination

Woven bag workshop
We are committed to the communities and their traditions, therefore, taking advantage of their abilities to make crafts, we have created new techniques in collaboration with the State Training Institute IECA, to generate the largest network of artisans in the country, under this scheme, Every day, women gather to practice manual work through the woven bag program and thus also promote self-employment in the same communities where we have a presence.

Community teachers
For us, human development and the creation of spaces where individual and collective skills are exploited are fundamental, which is why we constantly work to offer workshops of interest to the communities surrounding our area of operation. Thanks to this scheme we have been able to consolidate local people as community teachers, who through their time, effort and dedication transmit their teachings to other inhabitants of the area and adjoining areas.

Yoga workshop
The comprehensive well-being of the people who live in the communities of influence for our project is fundamental for us, therefore, through this workshop we offer them the opportunity to relax in an environment of trust, where we seek to offer them other meditation alternatives with the intention to balance body and mind.

Strategic alliances
Thanks to the social commitment of the local, municipal and state Institutes with which we work in alliance, we have generated better opportunities for the communities where we operate, in addition to constantly offering and bringing closer services and training that seek to provide tools for personal and professional improvement.

Production of winter clothing
Knitting is an activity that stimulates concentration and creates spaces for relaxation, therefore, through this workshop we have offered women the opportunity not only to have an income in their homes, but to find a different way to distract themselves, learning and developing their motor skills, that is why in coordination with the IECA State Training Institute we developed this new workshop which has been widely accepted.

From your garden to your table
We promote the creation of rural family gardens that continually migrate to be a tool for the improvement of the family economy, guaranteeing the diversity of products throughout the year for self-consumption, exchange or independent sale

Piñata workshop
In coordination with the State Training Institute IECA we worked hard during the Christmas season in the preparation of piñatas designed with cardboard and made for the community posadas carried out in our Community Centers, in addition to promoting local commerce through the sale of these.

Crafts with recycling
Considering the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as an opportunity to implement changes, particularly through sustainable production and consumption, Sinda promotes a program among the community to promote recycling.

Community supports
We continuously connect with the communities through support and donations to improve the infrastructure of the communities and schools surrounding our project, with the aim of offering better conditions to students and inhabitants.


Confectionery
Thanks to the collaboration and support of the Multiple Care Center (CAM) and the IECA State Training Institute, we have developed this workshop, which has allowed mothers who go to the CAM facilities every day to become professional in this trade and thus can generate income through the sale of their products.

Embroidery workshop
This workshop, offered in coordination with the IECA State Training Institute, seeks to promote creativity through embroidery, as a form of expression, manifesting the particular and personal sense of the women and children who attend our Community Centers, exploiting the artistic capabilities, in the same way and promoting social reconstruction in an environment of tranquility.

Road maintenance
We understand the importance of maintaining solid relationships with the ejidos and communities surrounding our operation, therefore, we are proud to work closely with their committees to plan the constant maintenance of the roads, which directly benefit the inhabitants of the area. and indirectly to the people who use them constantly.

Otomi Crafts
A fundamental part of the operation of our Community Houses is the respect and continuous knowledge of the traditions and customs of the indigenous communities that are in our area of influence, therefore, we have worked hand in hand with the Otomí community to offer this workshop that It not only exalts its culture, but also offers new generations the opportunity to know and be proud of their roots.
